A year or so ago, I published a blog posting with the following title, "Don't Bite." The purpose of that blog posting was to warn people to stay away from "Crypto." I listed, in my "Don't Bite" blog post, a number of my earlier blog postings that gave the same warning, and I have written several others since then, reiterating my argument:
Here is another such warning, with a new face to put at the top of today's blog post. Pictured is Sharmin Mossavar-Rahmani. She is Chief Investment Officer of Wealth Management & Head of the Investment Strategy Group at Goldman Sachs. I heard about her from an article in The Wall Street Journal, which calls her a "Crypto Naysayer." The article is titled as follows: "Bitcoin Is Soaring This Year. Goldman’s Crypto Skeptic Isn’t Biting."
I am, quite obviously, NOT someone with any expertise in investment strategies. Mossavar-Rahmani, however, "has guided thousands of wealth advisers, clients and traders and regularly appears on television." She obviously is such an expert! I am comforted to learn that someone who is an "expert" says the same thing I do about cryptocurrency:
Crypto is nothing more than a means of speculation.
That is a quote. Now, you have been warned by an "expert," too!
