#169 / That Last Speech

I am not, I must confess, much of an admirer of Ronald Reagan, the fortieth President of the United States. I do have to say, however, that Reagan's "Last Speech," featured above, takes this nation to school, and lets the people of this country know one of the things that is truly "great" about the United States of America.

If you click the link above, and wait through any advertisements that may assail you, you will only have to listen for another four and one-half minutes to see if you agree that this "Last Speech," by one of our most beloved presidents, puts to shame the words of Donald J. Trump, who became our forty-fifth president

Here are Trump's remarks:

What is my thought, on listening to both of these men speak? My thought is that we should celebrate the words of President Reagan, who has demonstrated, in his "Last Speech" to the citizens of the United States, that our nation should never, ever, make the mistake again of putting someone into the presidency who, like Donald J. Trump, so signally fails to understand what this nation is really all about.
