The guy pictured above is named Paul Singer. According to The Wall Street Journal, from which I acquired the image, Singer is "The Man Who Saw the Economic Crisis Coming." The headline refers to the financial crisis of 2008. The Wall Street Journal says that Singer sees another financial crisis coming, too, just in case you're interested.
I have employed my blog, in the past, to inveigh against "cryptocurrency." In fact, I have done that on numerous occasions. If you'd like to review my many admonitions on this subject, please click this link.
I am NOT a financial guru, as Singer appears to be (if you credit The Wall Street Journal). I am, thus, publishing this blog advisory as a service to those who might not think I know what I am talking about, when cryptocurrency is the issue.
Here is what Paul Singer says about cryptocurrency (and Singer is a financial guru):
There are thousands of cryptocurrencies. That's why they're worth zero. Anybody can make one. All they are is nothing with a marketing pitch - literally nothing (emphasis added).
So, take it from someone who has the bonafides, and be advised!
