#128 / Solar, Solar, Everywhere

 

The picture above comes from a recent article in The Wall Street Journal. The article reports that "only 4% of commercial buildings with at least 10,000 square feet of roof space have solar installations."

 

If human civilization is to survive, we must stop the burning of fossil fuels. "Period!" Pretty much, "period!"

 

That means that we should be installing solar power facilities, like those shown in the picture, wherever they will productively and effectively produce electric power. On the roofs of commercial buildings, and on the roofs of residential buildings - WHEREVER they will effectively and productively produce electric power. The Wall Street Journal is not alone in noting the opportunities. Here's a link to a New York Times article that makes the same point.
