When I was a kid (though I certainly didn't know it at the time) the "Negro Traveler," if traveling in the South, might well have relied on The Green Book. Click the link to read all about it. You might want to see what The Washington Post has to say, as well.
There is now a movie out about The Green Book, and the movie is based on a true story. I notice that Green Book (the movie) didn't make it onto the list of year end movies that are big at the box office, as identified by The New York Times' in an article entitled, "Super Year For Movies At Box Office." I think Green Book should be on that list, which would mean that more people would have to go out and see it. Here's some encouragement.
Green Book is a really good movie. It's "laugh out loud," and I walked out of the threatre with an afterglow of good feeling. The audience clapped, at the end, at the showing that my family attended, two days before Christmas.

There a few interesting points soon enough on this page but I don’t determine if I see them all center to heart. You can find some validity but I am going to take hold opinion until I look into it further. Very good write-up , thanks therefore we want far more! Added onto FeedBurner too Cineblog01
