#361 / More Candles

The timing of my day-after-Christmas birthday (that's today) has always been a blessing. NO embarrassing celebrations in school (or most anywhere else, either). That's exactly the way I have liked it for over seventy years!

I found, when I looked into the back pages of this blog, that I quoted Bob Dylan on my birthday in 2010. That has been awhile, now, but it seems to me that the sentiment still applies, even though there are a lot more candles on the cake:

I been kicked and whipped and trampled on, 

I been shot at just like you.

But as long as the world keeps a-turnin',

I just keep a-turnin' too.

The name of that song, and the message it conveys, is "Guess I'm Doin' Fine." Well, just like in 2010, I guess I am!

As I said back in 2010, "The world does keep on going around. And so do we, year to year." I'm still going around, but that's not really the kind of "revolutionary" approach I'm looking for!
