I was stunned. I really couldn't quite believe this.
On September 22nd, The New York Times advertised its "Luxury Beyond Product" conference, to be held in Versailles on November 17th and 18th of this year.

Here's what it is all about:
As the luxury consumer has evolved and matured, their relationship with brands has changed, and deepened, beyond the entry-points of logo or fabrication or aesthetic to encompass value systems. But what does this mean for a brand? How do you speak to consumers in this ephemeral sphere? We look at the multiple dimensions in which brands now have to work to navigate the new world of the 21st century.
If this conference speaks to your condition (that ain't me, babe), you are repeatedly invited to "request an invitation."
I won't be attending.
You won't either, I predict...
Unless you really have a lot of money!
