In Europe, there is an actual sharing "movement." It's organized. It's a "big tent" effort, too (see above). If you'd like to find out more, check out the OuiShare website. There is a Facebook page, too. If you happen to be in Paris on May 5th and 6th, you might want to attend the 2014 OuiShare Fest.
Among other things, OuiShare is trying to stimulate "collaborative consumption" as a way to move to a "collaborative economy." The way I read it, collaborative consumption means LESS consumption.
That could be a very good thing for Mother Earth!

This sounds very cool...do you remember when we were riding the metro and on the stop just before Emily's I said that there was a very cool venue where Quinn takes his music class and Bob Dylan sometimes plays? That is exactly where this festival is taking place! Hope to have some family representatives there!
