#270 / Kaleidoscope
I am not much impressed with changes that just "happen to us," even if they present themselves as pretty displays. Changes that "happen to us" are not "real" changes, the way I look at it. The only changes that really count are the changes we make ourselves, through tough choices, both individual and collective.
That said, I do consult my kaleidoscope from time to time. It is on my desk in my office. It helps remind me that no matter which way we look, attractive possibilities are always accessible.
