#3 / A Modest Program For Real Change

I am looking forward to hearing from Governor Jerry Brown today, at about 11:00 o'clock this morning, as he is inaugurated in Sacramento. I assume that he will make a speech of some kind, but having heard Jerry Brown speak before, I doubt that it will be a long or elaborate one.

If the Governor outlines what he hopes to help make happen, I have a feeling it will only be in some metaphorical, aphoristic, and allusive manner. Probably not a laundry list. Probably not an articulated list of any kind. Probably not an outline of his "modest program for real change."

In politics, talking about it is the antithesis, quite often, of getting it done.
