I spent my last day in Argentina in the huge delta of the Parana, San Antonio, and Rio Plata rivers (pictured). It's a fabulous place, and is only about an hour away from downtown Buenos Aires by train.
I am heading home this evening, and I've been following things in California enough to know that the future of the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta is likely to be decided in the California State Legislature, and in the Congress, during the upcoming year.
If you would like to be able to take part in the critical debate about the future of the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta, since what happens there will have such an important effect on the future of California, go to the Planning and Conservation League website, and sign up for the PCL Insider, which will definitely keep you up to date on what you can do to help.
You might sign up with Restore The Delta, too!
