200 / Possibility #2

For me, "possibility" is a category that pertains most directly not to the world of Nature, but to the world that we create ourselves. In his Theses on Feuerbach, Karl Marx said "the philosophers have only interpreted the world, in various ways; the point is to change it."

Our ability to change the human world we ourselves have created is plenary. The "possibilities are endless."

Let's be more cautious about changing the world of Nature, however, or we will end up with more mountaintop mining!
